Volvic bottle water?

This maybe a stupid question, But how come if volvic water has been filtered for millions of years in volcanoes why does it have a printed sell by date ????????

  1. It's because it's tap water - like all bottled water, particularly Evian - which is Naive backwards.


  2. Maybe because it's not vaccuum-sealed in the bottle which would cause bacteria growth?

  3. Bacterial contamination is a risk.  Some polymers (plastics) can also degrade over time spoiling the water.

  4. That's a cracking question maybe its because the water has got a shelf life of 2 million years and 14 days,  But the new advert with "Tyrannosaurus Alan" in it, isn't half good though don't you think.
