My dad is going to buy a used car, but is stuck between three cars. There is a 2001 jaguar S type, 2001 Volvo S80 turbo, and a 2003 lincoln LS. They are all equally matched on mpg ratings, and are all v6's. But what i need to know is which will be the best choice if he is only looking for dependability.

Btw, i know that volvo's are foreign cars, and cost more to repair than the other cars. But are they less likely to breaak down then the others??

  1. volvo they come with good warranty's and repairs are free under warrenty's.

  2. the same robots that make jaguars make lincolns.... and fords too. no question, go with the volvo.

  3. I vote for the Volvo!

  4. no volvo has a repair shop just like any other car.

like mini cooper (consider it it is so nice looking used is good to)  they are imported from england and they have they're own repair shop and it doesnt cost any more than another repair shop.

um but jaguires are good too.

  5. volvo

  6. i would have to go with the S-Type.

    But then i am British

  7. volvo..classy and reliable

  8. jag!

  9. they are  all fords....so whats the difference???

  10. None of them would be that good, if you're looking for dependability. All of them are expensive to repair, to maintain, and are not very reliable.

If you want a good, used luxury car, get a Lexus or an Acura.

  11. its buyers choice,i do reccommend volvos for dependabilty, and jaguar has most like high labor rate and parts

  12. It's personal choice, but I would choose the Volvo. Jaguar I believe is owned by Ford and since it's the S type, you might as well drive a Ford. Lincoln is also American. My advice is to stay away from American cars. Japanese or European is the way to go

  13. For dependability id say the Volvo
