Volxwagon transporter/campervan (ect) Question?

Can you actually sit in the back of campervan type vehicles while someone is driving? ie. on a sofa ect?

I know... Stupid question :P

No, it's not a stupid question - In a camper van, you can sit anywhere there is a seat to travel, with or without a belt.

You can, but it's not advisable to sit without a seatbelt in place.  Depending upon the model and it's layout, there may or may not be seatbelts at every seating position.
