  1. It's good to eat something before you run, but not right before you run. You might need to wake up a bit earlier to eat at least a half hour before you run. If you're really pushing yourself, it is very common to throw up. I know people that throw up all the time anyway, so it kind of depends on how you react to certain things.

  2. its either because your not eating and getting lethargic or you eat a lot of c**p food your body needs to get rid of

  3. I've heard that people who do eat a light snack before running (10-30 minutes before) dont vomit. They say that the vomiting is actually caused by not eating. But it could also be normal..after a really hard work out, some people vomit. Try sipping a tiny bit of water throughout practice/conditioning if you can.

  4. Its probably lactic acid many 400m runners throw up after running because of it. It happens when your body starts to use your protein stores in your muscles for energy. Your body should soon get used to it and youll stop gettin sick..just keep training and you'll soon notice a difference.

  5. have some yogurt or something before you go out and run. you cannot run on an empty stomach.. its just as bad as having bad food before you run

  6. When I ran track I puked every time. I was pretty good too, I was county champion! But I puked every time I ran. I never found a way stop it. I just got used to it after a couple of years and it was just standard for me by the time I got in High School. It never mattered if I didn't eat anything or if I ate something, I still puked. I tried not eating anything. I tried eating a light snack just before the track meets. I tried eating breakfast but nothing else. I tried just eating the night before. Nothing worked, I tried everything that was ever suggested to me. It was pretty funny when my girlfriends mom came to see a track meet for the first time, she told my mom that I was puking and my mom was like, "Yea." My girlfriends mom was going "You better go check on him!" and getting all excited about it. In a very nonchalant way my mom says "He does this every time." I think my girlfriends mom was horrified that my mom wasn't more concerned about it. Anyway, I don't know what to tell besides to just get used to it. I'm now 37 and have been in martial arts for 17 years and I still puke when I push myself to my limits. It kind of sucks!
