Question:

Vomitting at almost 35 weeks...?

I'm almost 35 weeks pregnant and have been sick several times since last night. I've had nausea all the way through my pregnancy but rarely actually vomitting. I woke up last night around 2am feeling sick, and took a Remegel (which usually clears it as my later stages nausea has been because of acid reflux), and instead of feeling better, i was violently sick. And again today. It's not serious, i'v managed to keep some food down and i'm not yet dehydrated. I know it could well be a bug i'v picked up but was wondering if anyone knows of anything else I should be looking for? I don't seem to have any other symptoms except for feeling more tired than usual. No temp or headaches.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance for answers.

  1. I had horrible ms from 6 six weeks to six months. then it started again at 8 months. they normally dont tell you the ugly side of pregnancy, but it is common to get morning sickness again at the last stages of pregnancy.

to feel reassured, i would call your ob and let them know what is going on. they might bring you in to check your bp and other things to make sure nothing more serious is going on.

    good luck

  2. You are probably just fine, but I would definitely call your doctor to get checked out.  They'll likely want to see you and check to make sure everything is okay.  Good luck!

  3. scusa ma non capisco l'inglese

  4. i did same thing with my daughter..

make sure check the food that what you ate..for me.. if anything from  canned jarred, basically anything not homemade.. even salsa.

check the food and make sure drink a lot of water.let acid to flush away from your system. have a piece of plain bread to observe the acid. saltine or muffin never worked for me.. avoid tomatoes orange juice.something highly in acid. soda makes you to feel more bad. so try to avoid..

if you can make some rice soup.(2 table spoons of rice and 3 cups of water to boil until rice to melt..)  it helps calm your tummy down

good luck you have a only few more weeks to go..

  5. Normal, but you could have a virus too.  Just stay hydrated.  Try to take some zantac or other reflux 20 minutes before you lay down for bed, that should help you feel better through the night.

  6. I've heard that near the end of your pregnancy your morning sickness can get worse, and sometimes it's an indication that labor is close behind. That happened to me with my first, and, and I had him a week later. I would call your OB just to be sure though.:)

  7. Late vomiting is a sign of pre eclampsia! Get your bp checked and if you see any flashing lights or start swelling up around your ankles and feet, get down maternity asap ! GOOD LUCK!
