Vonage (VoiP)?

Has anyone actually used Vonage? What was your experience? Do you recomend it?

Vonage is being sued by AT&T, Verizon & Qwest communications, and lost one case already, yet doesnt have enough to pay!

As good an vonage sounds, i think since its still a new company, they are still working the bugs out, a lot of features are not capatible with a lot of the cell phone companies features. Its not in all areas, you may find some people who like it, but I dont like it if the cable goes out, so does the phone, the landline works just fine with me

I have no problem with Vonage. In fact I like them so much I paid a yr in advance, which gives me a slightly cheaper rate.

I had vonage for a year. I loved it. The price was great. The only problem I had was that when the cable went out the phone did too. Other than that it was like regular phone service at a better price.

When I first received the service I found out I still had to keep AT&T in order for the Vonage to work and I had vonage since september and it has never worked finally I tried to close the account I spoke to a representative and they stated to write in a letter since the service never worked to not receive disconnection fees of 129.88. Then I didn't receive a reply to my letter and they charged my credit card the disconnection fee without even advising me and have attempted to charge it three times since then. I say just say no.

I have use vonage and didn't like it.  I now have Globalinx which is another VoIP company but better rates and services.
