  1. Vonage was booted by the Better Business Bureau in March of 2007 due to unresolved customer complaints...

I had a terrible experience with Vonage.  Went through all the initial start-up, got the equipment...but they couldn't figure out how to switch my current number over and decided just to assign me a new one randomly.  I called the existing phone company, and they said there should have been no problem.  On top of that, services I paid for weren't operating.  After hours on hold over a couple of days, and explaining the same things over and over to people who didn't seem to comprehend what I was saying, I gave up, sent the equipment back, and went with a bundle service through my cable company.  The cable phone service works great, by the way.  Good luck to you!
