Vonage question?

I am thinking about getting rid of my families cell phones and just getting Vonage (we only talk on the phone when we're at home anyways). Do any of you use it, and if yes, what is your experience with it?? Is it worth it or is it better just to get a regular phone??

I have been using Vonage for more than 2 years and i am totally satisfied. I love it. No complaints at all.. Oh yeah one small bad thing but it doesnt bother me. If you are downloading a movie or something huge off the net the voice quality of your vonage can get bad. Thats all :). If your net is down, you will not be able to use Vonage and will not be able to call 911. So the regular phone has all these advantages over vonage. I have only vonage at home and never had any problems.

Vonage is ok. My friend has it and is somewhat satisified. There are other internet phone companies worth looking at including Skype and Momentum Plus,

However, between Vonage, Momentum Plus and Skype one allows you to be part of the business and share in the profits and or be a subscriber, while the other two only let you be a subscriber.
