Swansea City shot stopper, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Michel-Vorm-c25482 thinks that his side’s impressive 2011/12 campaign provided them with a valuable experience of playing in the Premier League, but admitted they need to step up their game even further in order to consolidate
their place in the summit of English football.
The Welsh club took the EPL by the storm last season, as under their former manager Brendan Rodgers, they managed to finish at the eleventh place in the league table. During their campaign, they beat the likes of title winners Manchester City, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 and

The Dutch International, who joined Swansea in August last year from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Utrecht-c39237, was one of the star performers for his side during his debut Premier League season. In total, he made 37 league appearances for the Welsh club, and kept 14 clean sheets.
The goalkeeper recently joined the squad, after completing his extended one week holiday in view of his international commitments.
Keeping in view the arrival of the new manager, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Michael-c25261 Laudrup and the fact that some of the key players have parted ways with the Welsh club, the Dutchman admitted that his side are expected to face more challenging tasks this coming season. However, he
felt that their last term experience will help them establish their place in the league.
He told the reporters in an interview, “We will have to work even harder than we did last season to achieve the same goal, but I believe the experience we gained in our first season in the Premier League will be a huge help.”
Touching the subject of Rodgers departure from the Liberty Stadium, Vorm admitted that he was disappointed to see him part ways with the Swans, as he was the one who brought him at the club. However, he insisted that Laudrup was the perfect replacement for
the Northern Irishman, and his playing philosophy was consistent with their style.
“He has had an amazing career and his experience will be vital for us. His style suits the way we play and hopefully we can push on as a team and a club.”
