We need some votes to help us decide [:

Which do you like best & why? Declan or Preston?

We liked Eamon (AY-mon) as well, but we understand how it maybe hard for some people to pronounce

I dont need to hear anyone say they are too weird [: they're the names we love & want for our baby.

Thanks!

  1. Declan By far!

Eww i hate the name Preston reminds me of Pretzels lol

  2. They're all lovely.  My favorites (in order) are probably:

    Eamon

    Declan

Preston (sounds a bit snobbier than the other two)

Eamon shouldn't be that hard for people to pronounce.  He may occasionally get called EE-mon instead of AY-mon, but he'll only have to correct each person once.

  3. preston definitely

  4. Preston

    Eamon's pretty cool though

    and Declan is nice

but i think preston is the best

    =P

    they are all nice =D

  5. Preston. I just don't like Declan at all and Preston is cute. I don't really like Eamon either.

  6. I Declan and Preston are just average. Not good, not bad.

Eamon however is gorgeous, not too common and cute for all ages.

Because Eamon Sullivan is becoming more well known, the name will become well known and easy to pronounce.

If it bothered you that much, you could alter the spelling to Amon.

    Good luck (:

  7. I am a big fan of unusual names, but honestly am not too crazy about either one. However, I would choose Declan over Preston any day. I'm not exactly sure why, for some strange reason it reminds me of Parsley and Elvis Presley...strange, huh? I guess it's such too strong, and last-name sounding for me. Actually the more I say it, the more I am liking Declan anyways =D. Eamon is really cool too, though. I agree it may be hard to pronounce and I don't like the way it looks, but it sounds awesome. How about Declan Eamon?

    good luck

  8. Eamon :]

it wont be hard to pronounce i know two Eamon's and they have never had a problem before.

PS i live in AU too.

  9. I prefer Declan - because - I have always really liked that name!!

Eamon is great - I know too well how to pronounce it coz I live in Australia and we have a great swimmer - Eamon Sullivan!!  Like America's Michael Phelps nearly!!  But I prefer Declan :)

  10. They're both very nice, but I'd have to choose Declan.

  11. i really really like Declan....its a unique name and ive never heard it before...

  12. i love it in australia i was there last year, it was beautiful!

i think Declan is soooo cute if you like both Declan and Preston , why not just name him Declan Preston or Eamon Preston or Eamon Declan... the best part about narrowing it down to two names is you can combine then as a first and middle...

  13. DECLAN BY FAR!

Declan is one of my favourite boys names ever! Preston is nice but it reminds me of Elvis Presley for some reason.

    Hope I have helped.

  14. Declan :)

    x

  15. I prefer Preston, it's cute but it's not as common as Declan (where I am, atleast).

I love the name Eamon, but I know what you mean by being hard for some people to pronounce.

Good luck, you have some cute names so far.

  16. I love Eamon. If you are in Oz then you shouldn't even worry a bit. If you were in the US then you'd have to pronounce it for every one. I have only heard Declan a few times lately and havent decided how I feel about it yet.

Eamon Preston sounds lovely together. Enjoy your beautiful new baby boy.

  17. to be honest i love preston, its very cute, and sounds classy! not really feelling declan or eamon, but they are very unique!

  18. Preston.

I love in Australia too and I don't know anyone called that, so thats way better to have a not so common name :]

  19. I'm not sure how to pronounce Declan... But either way I'd prefer Preston over Declan.Preston is a very unique name.
