  1. Yousuf

he is very modest thts main reason i like him. he is like pakistan dravid....

  2. I WOULD LIKE TO PUT MY PREFERENCES RANKWISE--

    1. SOHAIL TANVIR

    2. Md YOUSIF

    3. M.Ul HAQ

    4. K.AKMAL

    5.M.ASIF

    6. S.AFRIDI

    7. S.BUTT

    8. Y.KHAN

    9. S.MALIK

    10. S.BUTT

    11. F.ALAM

  3. As per the current form in test matches, the order is - Arafat, Abdur Rehman, Naved-ul-Hasan, Misbah-ul-Haq, Danish Kaneria, Younis Khan, Md. Asif, Kamran Akmal, Sohail Tanvir, Shahid Nazir, Shoaib Akhtar, Md. Yousuf, Umar Gul, Md. Sami, Imran Farhat, Salman Butt, Md. Hafeez, Yasir Hameed, Shoaib Malik and Faisal Iqbal.

I feel that Pakistan does not use its players very well. Take the case of Yasir Arafat. He got just one test match in which he took 7 wickets, which is very big. Why are they ignoring such a player ? Another case is that of Abdur Rehman. He got just 2 test matches in which he took 11 wickets. Taslim Arif got just 6 matches in which he scored 501 runs and was ignored later. Arif Butt got 3 matches in which he got 14 wickets and was ignored. Azhar Mahmood got 21 matches in which he scored 900 runs and got 39 wickets and took 14 catches. Is it a small performance ?

But players who are not very good are persisted with. Was Wasim Bari such a great keeper to last 18 years and no better keeper came up during this time ? Faisal Iqbal got 21 matches and scored just 897 runs. Is it very great ?

  4. Mohammed Asif- Great bowler, swings the ball and is very accurate

  5. Mohammad Asif as a bowler - he is fast, accurate, swings the ball and takes wickets at key times.

As for batsman, Inzamam ul Haq, he is still the best, although he began his career as a lower order batsman, scoring quickfire cameos, he matured into one of the world's best Test and ODI batsmen, often carrying the brunt of the batting order on his (broad) shoulders, ending up with over 8000 runs in Tests and 11,739 runs in ODIs. His transformation is one that was obviously not mirrorred by Shahid Afridi, one feels if he cared to apply himself he could a great asset in T20 and ODIs and even an useful Test all-rounder. And although Mohd. Yousuf will probably surpass most of Inzi's records, there will always be a certain charm about Inzi's batting and the way he carried himself that those who had seen him play will never forget.

Two names you did not mention in your list, but deserves mention, are Abdul Razzaq and Danish Kaneria. Razzaq was a fine all-rounder, a fact that is apparent since he kept Azhar Mahmood, himself an excellent cricketer, out of the team for a decade. Kaneria is Pakistan's best leg-spinner since Abdul Qadir, and would have surpassed the impact Mushtaq Ahmed had on international and county cricket. Both were treated extremely shabbily by the PCB. Although he is playing well in ICL, Razzaq's talents merit a place in Test cricket and the game will sorely miss him. Kaneria's C-grade contract is an insult to one of the hardest-working members of the team. Even if the PCB does not give them any credit, as cricket fans we shoyuld not forget them just yet.

  6. misbah ul haq

  7. no doubt asif a great bowler and have a strong strength.

  8. Among then players listed by you, Mohd. Asif is a great bowler followed by Umar Gul and Sohail Tanwir.

Among the batsmen Mohd.Yusuf and Yunis Khan are great batsman.

Shahid Afridi is a great all rounder and is capable of turning the match in Pakistan's favour when he is in his element.

  9. misbah, seems like a gentleman

  10. I lie Afridi 'cos he can tonk it.
