can someone vote with a student visa?

suppose this one guy comes to USA with a student visa, can he vote in this elections?

or can he only vote for his country?

  1. Simple put The answer is NO!for all states, in order to register to vote, an applicant must be a U.S. citizen, a legal resident of the state, and 18 years old on or before election day. Additionally, most states do not permit an individual to vote if he or she is a convicted felon currently serving time in prison or has been declared mentally incompetent by a court of law.


  2. Contact your county election committee and ask them.

  3. To vote at all in the United States you need to be an official U.S. Citizen.

  4. You have to be an American Citizen to vote. Student Visas are not citizenship, therefore you will not be able to vote. !i
