  1. This reads like someone's homework.

  2. not going do your homework for you

  3. I don't understand your 1st Question.

    2.  the state of voter interest is at an all time high.  Perhaps that's the one good thing that came out of the Bush presidency... a lot more people are now interested in politics.  They've seen how one man can bring the American economy, culture and standing in the world to its knees.

    3.  The impact of the lack of voter interest is a positive one.  Many Americans are too uninformed about the issues and the candidates to make wise choices.  Instead, they tend to vote with their emotions or their tribes (often religious affiliations)- often to the detriment of themselves.  The most popular candidates have often turned out to be the worst, and tend to feed off of nationalistic and fear based issues.  It is far better to have less participation by the masses, and more participation by those qualified to make an intelligent decision.

    4.  Causes of Apathy?  American's are more interested in Tabloid news. What's up with Brittany Spears and who's going to win American Idol than they are with more complex issues such as budget deficits, free trade, farm subsidies, immigration issues, medical care, etc.
