The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904 Under-21 international is finally on his way to recovery following his road car accident almost two months ago, and has come out of the induced coma
Hoffenheim central midfielder Boris Vukcevic’s team members are still not allowed to visit him after he regained senses from the clinically-induced coma on Friday. However, his family has been granted the permission to meet the
youngster, who was involved in a traffic accident almost eight weeks ago.
The attacker was reported to have woken up and was told to be recognising his parents’ voices. He can give a response now and has been conversing with his family.
Nevertheless, his family has forbidden his team members, coaches, managers and friends from visiting him in the hospital in order to make sure he gets enough healing time. They claim that their son needs rest for the time being
and any outside contact will hamper his progress.
The German club’s chairman Dietmar Hopp stated that they fully honour the family’s privacy and would also want for their player to recover as soon as possible. Therefore, they will be patient and wait for the right time to visit
the 22-year-old.He further added that even the medical personnel has told them the exact same thing.
"As long as the parents say that it is not sensible to visit we will respect that," he was quoted as saying in an interview.
"The doctors have told us that it is not suitable for us to visit at present and so have the parents, so we will accept their decision," the former CEO of SAP AG added.
“Whilst he was happy about his recent speed of recovery, he admitted that it would be a while until Vukcevic is fully stable. It is still a long way, but we are hopeful," the German software entrepreneur finally concluded.
Hopp revealed that he was pleased to hear the good news about the player, and admitted that he is aware of the fact that it will take some time before the footballer regains full fitness. He is hoping that he recovers and resume
his promising career.
