The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904 Under-21 international has made another positive recovery from the car crash, and has now regained senses and is conversing with his relatives
Hoffenheim midfielder http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Boris-Vukcevic-c7879 has finally woken up from the clinically-induced coma after almost two months. The young player is now reported to be better and communicating with his close friends and family for a few hours
daily. The German club is pleased to announce the good news and wish him a speedy recovery.
The central midfielder was a victim of a road accident in September and suffered serious head injuries from the traffic crash when he was on his way to the training facility. He was allowed to go home from the hospital in October
and has now made further progress as he continues his recovery in a rehabilitation centre in Heidelberg.
However, the clinic is not sure whether the 22-year-old will regain full fitness. Moreover, he is now able to recognise his family as they are taking utmost care of their son.
Hoffenheim general manager Andreas Muller explained that the club is really happy to hear the good news. He claimed that they are fully behind their player and want him to be fit again as soon as possible. He also said that everyone
at club wants to meet him, but are respecting his parent’s wishes.
"We are really delighted that things are continuing to improve for Boris. We think about him every day. Of course we, the players and his colleagues, would love to visit him, but that is totally secondary right now. What’s more
important is that he receives the best possible conditions for his recovery and we fully understand his family’s wishes," he added.
"We are pleased that Boris is making progress, but we still ask, for our son's sake, to respect that he still has a long way to go and still needs lots of peace and quiet," he mused.
Vukcevic’s parents commented that they are glad to announce their son’s recovery from the fatal injuries suffered in September. They asked everyone to let him recover in solace as he needs mental peace for the time being.
