Zimbabwe Cricket has revealed the 24-man training squad that will take on South Africa in the five-match T20 series. Vusi Sibanda, the 28-year-old batsman from Harare, has been recalled into the squad after
fulfilling the board’s requirements.
http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Alan-Raymond-Butcher-c42769, Zimbabwe's head coach, was relieved that all matters between Sibanda and the board are settled. The head coach hoped that the right-hander can now play for Zimbabwe with full devotion.
Giving an interview to ESPNcricinfo, Butcher said, “I am very pleased that the issues are done and dusted. Now, Vusi can move forward and put it out of his mind.”
Sibanda was ignored by the selection committee for the tour of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Mid-West-Rhinos-c816, the
team Sibanda was supposed to represent in Zimbabwe’s domestic structure.
However, the right-hander made amends for his acts by participating in the national event after returning from Australia.
South Africa are scheduled to tour Zimbabwe for five days from June 20th till June 24th. During this time, the side will face each other in five T20 matches.
Since the series was not part of International Cricket Council's (http://www.senore.com/Cricket/ICC-World-Cup-2011-c100625) Future Tours Programme (FTP), therefore it has not received international status. Nonetheless, the tournament will give players from
both sides a chance to enhance their skills.

He said, “It will be good for us to play against another top side and that's exactly what South Africa are. We've got a great bunch of guys who have been working hard so we're excited about what's to come.”
