W/ plastic worms.Should i worry about how far i cast out.i dont have a boat.i fish off d bank.?

You should be able to find plenty of accessable areas to fish plastic worms from the bank.  Look for coves, inlets with grassy bottom.  Also fish visible and submerged points, and don't forget the occasional dock or two.  Also, if you can't afford a boat and want to access more areas, try a float tube.  They are easy to use and pretty cheap.  Good luck.
