W580i problem? Help?

Question

my w580i won't let me play songs, look at pictures, or anything like that.

for instance, i installed a couple of songs and now its not playing them, when i click play it says "Playback Failed"

And all the Pictures I've taken aren't showing or anything.

Sometimes they play & the pictures show, but most of the time they don't, can someone help?

Usually when playback is failed it's because the file may have been deleted somehow. try that try turning off the phone and removing the sim waiting 30 secs and then putting it back in and turning the phone back on if all else fails try calling 611 for att and they might be able to trouble shoot it or it maybe a warranty issue and then you will get it replaced if you year with that phone isnt up

I had the same problem..and it was that little memory stick wasnt working properly you know the one on the top..i had to push it in really hard to get my pictures and my music back...if you push it in and hold it you should be able to get some of your stuff back

Well get sonyericsson update service, and re install the firmwarE(update your phone), If it says you have the latest firmware installed, click on continue anyway. Besure to back up your contacts and evrything you want to. Cuz everything will go.

But before doin that, check your memory card as well.

if they're on your memory stick, there might be something wrong with it. Try replacing it.
