  1. <---------- he is adopted from Petfinder.com  He was at my local Humane Society, and he is the best dog, and he is a fullblood.  That part does not matter to me.  I just wanted to save a life, and give him a great home....and he is such a joy to our family.  My other Corgi just loves him, and he just adores her.  You can also to learn more about Corgi's on the AKC site.  Corgi's are not a dog for everyone.  They like to bark, and they shed, shed, shed.   But, that is not important to me. I have a sweeper.  They are busy little bee's, and love to play, and play hard.  Mine both have the herding drive...but Roper is more laid back than Tulssa.  But, hoorah for you wanting to get a Corgi.  They are a great all around dog, and I love mine.  Also make sure you read up on their health issues....as they do have some....just like most dogs do.  Also you can put your name on a list at your shelters and tell them you are looking for a corgi/mix to make into a family member of yours.  I wish you luck ahead....and let us know alright.  Oh my gosh what cute doggy's.  I mean I just would love to adopt them all.  You are going to keep your brain going and going and looking and looking you are going to want to adopt them all.

  2. Definitely adopt one, look on petfinder.com.  You won't regret it!

  3. Yes, I've had several healthy pups/dogs from a corgi breeder who lives close to me in Illinois.  She also was able to get me a pup that she co-owned in Kentucky and a one year old from a breeder in Indiana. Contact me and I'll give you her name and number.

  4. Corgi breed club breeder listing http://www.pembrokecorgi.org/memberlist....

Corgi rescue run by the breed club - http://www.pembrokecorgi.org/rescue.html

  5. akc.org to find breeder of purebred corgi's.  petfinder.com to find corgi mixes (mutts).

  6. adopt a dog that needs a home. dont go and get a puppy when there are thousands of dogs that did nothing wrong and just need a second chance in life. i did it. i haven't regretted it once.

  7. does it really have to be breeder? why don't u adopt a poor dog from animal shelter instead? they have purebreeds and mixed breeds. and there is a lot to choose from, so you'll have lots of choices and it's adoptable at low cost
