WAS chris labonty wearing a seatbelt?

On 2-24-08 around 11:30 PM Chris was racing with his Dads BMW against his friend while he spun out and hit a light pole. He was not wearing his seatbelt think the authorities. Chris got baptized a week before his tragic death. He is in a better place now. We will all miss him

Why is this question in the Aircraft section.  Try putting it in the section like &#039;Safety&#039; or &#039;General - Cars and Transportation&#039;, where it might get some better answers.

If he was &#039;racing&#039; his Dad&#039;s BMW, and wrecked, then I&#039;d say it was driver error.  Not a real good idea.

Oh, and a point on your comment about &#039;got baptized&#039;...

Getting baptized does not mean you go to heaven.  Being saved does.  Getting saved is easy - it&#039;s asking Christ into your heart as your Lord and Saviour.  Getting baptized is what you do after you get saved, as an expression of that decision.

I do hope he got saved before he died.  Heaven is a far better place to spend eternity thatn the alternative.  Check out Romans 6:23 as a start.  Asking Christ into your heart is the single most best decision you can make.  He loves you and wants a relationship with you.
