WASP!in my house?

Question

okay theres a wasp in my house its BIG black and FAST! it came in last week and now i cant find it how do i attract it you know like fruit flys with the soap and waer thing how do i attract it and then kill it WITHOUT getting stung!

Why kill it? It wants to leave more than you want it to. Trap it on a flat surface under a drinking glass  (just move the glass very slowly until it's an inch or 2 above the wasp - or whatever), then slide a piece of cardboard under the glass and carry it outside. Save a life, It'll be good for your Karma.

sounds like a giant killer siamese fighting wasp 2 me so i would just pack my bags and leave.....b4 its 2 late.....

The glass and cardboard trick works. But in my experience, getting close enough with a glass to a huge wasp takes more fortitude than I've got! I open a window, shut off the lights so the window is the only source of light, let it fly to the screen and then shut the window. Then keep it shut until the poor wasp dies.

Yeah, I know I could open a door too, but that's how the wasp got in in the first place. There are more out there!

Sounds more like a bluebottle. It'll turn up against a window, just open it and shoo it out - if it hasn't gone already. They don't sting.
