Homeschooling won't change the status of your friendship unless the two of you decide that it will.

It's true that you won't see each other in school anymore, but you can still hang out after school and on weekends.

You will make other friends in school to hang with, and who knows? Perhaps you'll all hang out together with your BFF after school.

What do you need help with?

You'll still be able to keep in touch, I'm sure school isn't the only place you guys get to hang out.

If you mean "help" as in, how do you stop this from happening, well it's not necessarily a bad thing. Homeschooling can be great, give it a chance, I'm sure your friend will be fine.

You really have no say in the matter. What you should do is buttout! Home school isn't going to change your friendship any more than time will. You need to be there to support your friend in what ever she does. Thats what friends do.

Does you friend want to be home schooled? If she does then support her it might change your mind on the subject. You might find that you want to home school as well. Give it a chance.

You can still see him. Just because he's being homeschooled doesn't mean that he will be any different. Just keep in touch as always.

Just Be Supportive.

Don't completely ditch her for new friends though because that will make her feel like you cant be a good friend.

Treat Her Like you guys were still going to school together.

But really, nothing has changed much, you guys can still talk all the time..so yah.

Well, you won't see each other in school, but she'll have a lot of time free on afternoons and weekends cause in my experience, most homeschool kids are able to finish all their work during the day so they're free all afternoon and on weekends and such.
