  1. There is much to cover, but you will find free poker tutorials and tips at http://GamblingReviewsSite.com/pokertips  It is a fun game and although it is reasonably quick to pick up on how to play the cards it takes considerably more time to learn how to play the other players at the table!

  2. If you are new to the world of poker, the best game that you can play to ease yourself in is Texas Hold'Em poker by far. Most other poker games offer a myriad of different possibilities when it comes to calculating odds, but learning how to play Texas Hold'em poker only takes a few minutes. Within a few hours worth of practice, you will find that you are more proficient at the game of Texas Hold'Em than if you had begun with any other game. However, to learn how to play Texas Hold'Em poker the right way, you need to be prepared to play often.

Are you ready to learn Texas Hold'em poker? If you are ready to play Texas Holdem, the first thing that you need to understand is exactly how a game of Hold'em progresses. This is how to play and win Texas hold em poker:

       1. The betting structure for Texas Hold'em can vary significantly. Sometimes there are a sizable number of players, and antes are used to get the betting going. However, in most games, the two players who are to the left of the dealer put out a pre set amount of money so that there is money in the pot right after the bat. This betting practice is called posting the blinds.

       2. The dealer will now shuffle up a standard 52-card deck and deal two cards to each of the players at the table face down. These two cards are referred to as pocket cards, or hole cards.

       3. The next step is a round of betting which begins with whoever is to the left of the two players who posted blinds before. This round is referred to most commonly as the pre-flop round. The amount that can be bet by each player will depend on what kind of game is being played. Players are allowed to call, fold or raise at this point as well.

       4. Once the entire betting round has ended, the dealer takes the top card on the deck and discards it. This card, the burn card, is discarded to prevent cheating due to counting cards.

       5. After discarding the burn ca4rd, the dealer takes the next three cards and deals them face-up on this table. These cards are referred to as the flop, and they are cards that anyone can use to make poker hand combinations with their pocket cards. The flop is the first real opportunity for players to determine whether or not they have the necessary cards to win at Texas hold em poker.

       6. At this point in the game of Texas Hold'em there is another complete round of betting, but this time the round begins with whoever is directly to the left of the dealer. Once the betting has concluded, another card is burned. Once a burn card has been discarded, the dealer flips another card out onto the table alongside the flop. This is the turn card, another communal card that can be used to make poker hand combinations by all of the players at the table.

       7. Betting continues with a fresh round of bets. In many Texas Hold'Em games, this is the point where the size of the bet is doubled. After the round of betting finishes, another card is burned, and then a final card is placed face up on the table. This card is referred to as the river card. With the five cards on the table and the two cards in the player's hand, winning the hand means forming the best Texas Hold'em poker hand.

       8. One final round of betting is run, beginning with the player seated directly to the left of the dealer. After all of the betting is finished, whoever is remaining will reveal their hands. This part of the game is known as the showdown. A five card hand must be formed by each player in order for them to stand a chance at this point. Whoever is still in the hand and has the best poker hand is the winner.

There is a lot more to know if you want to learn Texas Hold'em poker. After all, betting, bluffing, raising and folding are all important aspects of the game. If you want to play Texas Hold'em correctly, you need to become well versed in all facets of the game, otherwise you will fall prey to bluffers, and other players who have an edge over you. This game is not difficult by any means, but it does involve learning how to read your opponents and behaving accordingly. In no time at all you will be ready to win Texas hold em poker!

  3. Texas Holdem is the game they were playing, which is a variation of poker. The best way to start out is to buy a book about the game and read it, or visit a website with some information.

Here is a link that provides both, information and a good book.

Then practice, practice and practice. Play for free at any number of sites and learn the game by playing it. Here is a link to a few sites you can play at for free, and they offer prizes and even cash if you win. All are USA legal, so there is no problem about gambling laws.

    Good Luck!

  4. basically, you  have five cards, u look for a pair ( hearts, clubs, spades... don't matter in this case),  three of a kind (three ones, sixes ... etc...), a run, (1 2 3 4 5, 10 jack queen king all have to be same symbols)   royal flush (ace, king queen jack all have to be diamond or heart...) , full house,( one pair and three of a kind)

one person starts by adding 1€ (or £$, i use €) and if u've got one pair, it's alright but it only beats u when u've got nothing. (if u've got nothing at the start, u can just put the cards down and not play!

if u've got a good hand, like a royal flush, and ur confident and ur opponent's confident, u play on  by raising the finishing money:

    Dude: €1,50

    Dudette: € 2,00

    Dude: € 4,00

    Dudette: €8,00

the dude has lost his confidence and has decided to pay 8,00€ to see Dudette's cards, meaning the finishing money would be €16, whoever has the highest scoring cards wins!

here is a list of the least scoring cards the the highest:

    1) a pair

    2)three of a kind

    3)a run

    4)a full house

    5) a royal flush

it's not all but it is as much as i can write

hope this helps because it took me half an hour to write this!!

  5. Its fairly easy. First, sign up for a playing server, such as pokerstars.net or fulltiltpoker.net. Those are sites where you can play poker with play money for a while until you get to learn the game. There are also many videos on youtube that teach you how to play, such as Daniel Negraneu's stacked videos, which start at step one. Or, you can go to the bookstore or library and pick up some hold'em books. But the best way to learn is to play. And if you ever do play on pokerstars or fulltilt, hope to play against you (ohsnapzbrah). Good Luck.
