What do you think of the name Declan? Pronounced deck-lin.

I really like the name.  If we had a more Irish-sounding surname, I would consider it for a boy (but it doesn't really go with our last name).

My sister just named my nephew (her son) that this past spring. It is a great name. Don't listen to the people saying it is made up. It is a great Irish name meaning "man of prayer". It is a great name for an adorable baby. It is much better than all those names like Jayden and Addison, etc.

It's a nice name. I love Irish names (my kids are Finley and Kieran) and I considered this name as well. Just know you will probably have to spell it and pronounce it all the time and so will your son (I do with mine). If that doesn't bother you then go for it! Conratulations!

I love that name! My friend just named her son that and I just think the name is SO cute. Very Gaelic.

I love Declan! It's one of my favorite names. Declan Monroe sounds nice to me, as a first and middle name but it depends on the last name.
