  1. cloning has been going on for a long time

    Eve was cloned from Adam.

    read between the lines.

sexuality is easily manipulated in the womb.

Yes why not ,we should clone endangered animals

  2. I think that we should start perfecting cloning before we do anything like that. Every animal that I know of that was cloned was messed up in some way. Dolly the sheep had some disease that old sheep get when she was born, so I think we should wait a while before we do anything like that.

And cloning endangered species would make make them all in-bred. They will be inbred anyway,  if they breed now, so I don't know how bad that would be, but I think that people should make sure that they won't be making things worse before they try that.

If they can be certain that it will work, then I think they should, yes.

  3. well this exact same question was asked 3 days ago by lucille c and it was anwsered that the prblem is the genetic diversity would not be there to sustain a heathy population look up this question some people had web sites with more info

  4. Here is the problem; DNA replication is sort of like taking a photocopy of a photocopy. Eventually you get all sorts of stuff in there that you really didn't want and the original image blurs. So as the cells divide and divide they "age" breaking down just a little bit each time. When you take those adult cells and "photocopy" them, you get all sorts of problems with the cells because they age too quickly.

In order to have sustainable growth of endangered species then you need to be able to have some diversity in the gene pool. That diversity is what gives a species a chance to survive if some disease or change in the environment comes along. If they are all exactly alike they will all get wiped out by the same thing.

  5. Oh sure, and then our grandparents too.   Let's just clone anything we please.  That's the answer.

  6. No, cloning an animal for meat or milk production is OK, but to clone endangered species will limit their gene pool.

  7. Looks like it is getting out of hand as they predicted.

When you see them putting human DNA into a Cow egg, nuf said.
