WEC: Jose Aldo vs. Urijah Faber available on DVD

Likewise, the World Extreme Cage-fighting (WEC) has recently joined hands with Image Entertainment to provide fans with another unique opportunity to have an easy access to the most wanted fights.
A Californian-based media organization called the Image Entertainment has bought the DVD and Blue-ray rights for WEC fights. The agreement allows them to distribute the selective WEC fights in United States of America and Canada. The fight-competition DVD is a total fun-packed thing for the fans, as it features some of the never-seen-before footages and several other unusual but interesting encounters. Image Entertainment is very excited about this joint venture of covering WEC events and the company hopes to provide the fans with some quality home entertainment products. Now fans can watch and enjoy their favourite performances, any time they like to.
The Executive Director of Marketing for Image Entertainment, Jim Goranitis expressed his views about this joint venture of releasing the DVD. He said, “We are truly looking forward to kicking things off with the DVD and Blue-ray release of the historic “Aldo vs. Faber” event.” He further added that they intended to launch “The Best of WEC” fights in September.
WEC organised an amazing event of Mixed Martial Arts in April this year. The Aldo vs. Faber, also known as WEC 48, was held at ARCO Arena in SA Sacramento, California on April 24, 2010. The Image Entertainment captured the event live and broadcasted it on pay-per-view. Due to its soaring popularity, they have also released the DVD version of the event.
WEC 48 featured the world’s top athletes and delivered eleven fights. It was a non-stop action of cage-fighting which was comprised of this year’s most exciting fights between Jose Aldo and Urijah Faber, Benson Henderson and Donald Cerrone, and the top-rated fight between Leonard Garcia and Jung Chan Sung of Korea.
The “Bad Boy” Garcia and “Korean Zombie” Jung entertained the fans with a wonderful fight. It kept the fans on the edge of their seats and filled them with a thrilling sensation with every move they made. The fans experienced an emotional and exciting watch with frequent short breaths screams. The commentator Joe Rogan regarded this contest as the “fight of the decade”.
Garcia was very proud for being featured on the DVD and when asked whether his fans had bought the DVD or not, he replied, “I have heard a lot of people watch the fight on DVD and then become MMA fans, and it’s been crazy for me since that fight”.
Benson Henderson had the same feelings and hopes that the DVD would surely raise people’s perception about this particular sport. He liked the idea very much and appreciated WEC for this big step. Henderson aspired to have all his fights on DVD including new combats and older encounters. The fans can obtain the DVD and Blue-ray from various popular malls and online selling stores.
