  1. Better go to a stylist. Tell her what colors you want and everything - try it atleast once before the wedding - she will aplly the make up and you will se, how you like. You both can discuss the colors and such. And then let her do your make up on the wedding day too.

This is gonna be one of the most important days of your life. The pictures will be there for the rest of your life. believe me, you want your make up perfect and your pictures breath taking.

  2. I am getting married too and everyone has suggested Bare Minerals makeup. Its really pricey and I haven't tried it yet but it seems really nice. The #1 most used makeup by brides. Here's thier site...

    http://www.bareminerals.com/

BTW- your skin is actually really nice!!

  3. for your wedding you want to look your best,

i'd consider wearing natural makeup to enchance your face,

i mean if you have big lips and you don't like them too much, then wearing a bright pink lipstick is going to do nothing for you,

a light foundations and a cover up stick for them bags under your eyes always help, ( make sure you get a good night sleep before the day )

then i always use a light i mean very light brown for eyeshadow and put that on the whole eyelid, i then get a slightly darker eyeshadow and put it on the outerside of my eyelid, and lastly i get a darker then both of them brown eyeshadow and right next to your eyelashes but a smokey brown line of eyeshadow on it, then get your finger and smudge it a litte, ths will make a smokey affect which always looks nice done the right way and also natural, don;t use black eyeliner at all, it makes your eyes look dark, use a nice black mascara but not too thickly or you could always get some fake eyelashes if you'd like to spend the money, and your lips be a nice light shade of pink or just some vasaline if you wish,, i hope this helps, i mean nobody wants to walk down the isle and get married looking like a clown or malibu barbie,

i hope you have a fantastic day, if your too worried and still don't know what to do after ths post just invite some girlfriends over for some advise, they'll help you (:

  4. Hi, You will look gorgeous, I love the hair! I am a professional makeup artist I do all kinds of big events such as Photo shoots, weddings, etc.. Although I highly recommend using mineral makeup, I would NOT recommend Bare escentuals, I have used them in the past and although they are an ok product, there are quite a few problems with them that could effect you on your wedding day. 1# there is quite a looong list of people who have allergic reactions to the bismuth oxychloride that causes a irritating itchy feeling, it is so well known that you can google "bare escentuals bismuth oxychloride itch" and fine pages and pages of resources. Not good to have a itchy face on your wedding day. 2# The bismuth oxychloride is a pearlescent mineral that gives you the "glow" but because it makes up most of their product it makes you look very GREASY in photos. Being a makeup artist it is well known you photo better Matte than greasy and glossy. With all that said, I do recommend mineral makeup it is not heavy at all! It is like a light airbrushing over your face, it covers imperfections, absorbs oil, reflects light, leaves a glow etc... I personally use on myself (daily) and on my clientel faerie organic minerals, they are based near Chicago which is where I am a makeup artist and you can purchase a kit off their website http://www.faerieorganic.com They have a starter kit with everything you need it comes with 2 foundations, blush, bronzer, mineral veil (oil absorbing powder and light diffuser) brushes etc.... I highly recommend it. I use it on all my brides and they photograph flawlessly. If you tell them your a bride, I know they give you all kinds of freebies (samples) for you to wear on your wedding day. My brides love it! check it out!
