WEEK???!!!help!?

My 16 year old daughter got a job at Banana Republic as a sales support associate. I believe she is only allowed to work 20 hours max because she is a minor. I was just wondering how do thhey calculate the hours in a week? Does the week run from Sunday to Saturday or is it something else?

a week is usually, saturday to saturday, but the 20 hour maximum is only  valid during the school year, otherwisem there araent official rules, unless they are only active in the company

A week is a cumulative and continuous 168 hours. So she is not allowed to work more than 20 hours during any 168 hours (from monday 8am to the next monday 8am is the same thing as from thursday 2pm to the next thursday 2pm) no matter how you cut your week.

From Sunday morning to Saturday night is also a good approximation (since I do not know if she works the week end or not)
