if i have a 2gb ddr 2 ram will this support the nvidia 9600gt ddr3 CARD???

Yes, the RAM and the video card are 2 seperate things. So not to worry about it. It is recommended that you have about that much RAM, but it does not matter. Any RAM would be compatible. The real question is does your motherboard have the right slots for the card. If the card is a PCI-Express and you have a PCI-Express slot on your computer, then it will work. Same goes for AGP.
