A man who has never gone to school may steal from a freight car; but if he has a university education, he may steal the whole railroad.

what does that mean?=) please help

  1. Simply if the man didn't have an education he would only be able to get a small piece of (probably the train represents) the world. If he had a college education he would be able to get more. (i.e. Donald trump in this case is the college educated man. Local Mcdonald's manager is the guy who never went to school.)

    lots of education = hostile takeover

    maybe the point is that the amount of education won't change a man's nature but his ability at whatever he does, good or bad.
