for not bowing down to a wannabe top 4 manager who thinks he can tell a club what price they should sell a player for ..!

they asked the price for barry and where told £18 million yet they have messed around with aston villa for too long now they are in danger off losing the player for good

they could not find £18 million for barry who played in most villa games last season and played very well for england and was a regular for the national team but found the same amount for r keane who didnt play that much for spurs last season

iv had my gripes about benitez but this is taking the biscuit

WELL DONE MR O'NEIL SHOW THEM WHO'S THE BOSS...!!

  1. come on Baggy, the same could be said for lots of negotiations this off season, although it's not usual for a player to come out and say they want to leave....that's what singles this deal out for me.....is Barry going to get a bad reception from the Villa fans if he's still there next season, I doubt it......I don't actually want him at Anfield, would much prefer that my beloved Xabi stays, he's a better player anyway.

  2. i think its time to let him go baggie hes pissed mon around ,the fans and it must be affecting the rest of the team ...... release him let him go .

  3. Martin O'Neill is the greatest

  4. So what should Rafa have done then? Just paid 18m straight up without any attempt to bargain? Get real man, and try not to be so biased.

Edit - C'mon Steve we all know who you love the most, it's Fergie!

  5. O'Neill and Moyes have done a lot with limited budget. Wonder what the can do in clubs with bigger budgets.

  6. its not about bowing down its called negotiating o'neils pizzed cause barry doesn't want to be there

  7. You dont normaly write c**p.You expect it from the press, and thats what it is,c**p.Why should someone be at fault.Liverpool make an offer,Villa refuse, since when does it say that Liverpool have to bid higher or Villa have to lower. If they cant agree on his value, thats it,finito. If you are going to cast blame, what about Barry, mouthing of to the press yet wont put in a transfer request, why, because it would cost him money. In fact if he had have put in a request he would have been a liverpool player now,Villa would not have to pay him 3 mill loyalty bonus and am sure MON would have took the 15 mill.

  8. Hmm yes I have had my run ins with Rafa...just ask him above^^^

Ever since that incident at OT! So it doesn't surprise me really!

BEST MAnager well as a referee I cannot say! I am a neutral figure and must remain so!

EDIT: FA I am booking you for dissent! Now once more and your off (think back to Mascherano at OT)

  9. Wannabe top 4 manager? You mean a top 4 manager! Name the last time Liverpool FC weren't in the top 4..... Yes ages ago!!! Now name a time Aston Villa have been in the top 4..... Yes probably never!!! Mr O'Neil is the wannabe top 4 manager he admits all the time whenever a reporter asks him what is your goal for next season it usually is "to be in the top 4 of the Barclay's Premier League"! Rafa's is to win the Barclay's Premier League! Because you have to go way far back to find a season where Liverpool weren't top 4!
