  1. 3.0

  2. Make sure you have volunteerism, extra-curricular activities such as sports and music, and also get recommendations from councilors, teachers, or friends who have established themselves professionally.

  3. 3.5

  4. Don't worry. I'm going through the application process right now. I'm a senior right now and let me just tell you, there are universities out there that accept 100% of applicants. GPA is only a small contributing factor. Your SAT or ACT score is the most important and all you should worry about as a sophomore. You should also have some extra-curricular activities such as volunteering on your resume. Volunteer locally at a hospital or wherever. Join some clubs in school and get a position such as president, secretary, etc. That shows leadership and colleges like that. Your GPA is low but you shouldn't worry too much. Applying to your state university is also a good idea because they are likely to accept applicants from their own state.

  5. 2.0 minium but if your going after harvard, stanford, yale etc I would reccommend around 3.7-4.0

  6. I hate to say this but my GPA was a 3.4 sophomore year and I had the hardest time brining it up to a 3.57 my final GPA, I recently graduated.  Junior and Senior year I had a 3.9 and 3.8.  You can probably get it up to a 3 seeing it's easier to raise a lower number.

My friend had a 2.1 and got into college in Virginia.  This school is kind of known for letting in people with low GPA's but dont worry.  You can do really good your first year and transfer or just work hard and a college will probably recognize that.  Make sure you volunteer a lot and join clubs. ( Sports if you're good, I wasn't)
