  6. It depends on where you live!! here in tn i know you can get one about 13-14 at like fast food and ice cream shops but thats it and then around 16 get a better job min wage here is 6.55 and it just depends on where you are!

  7. He can not legally work in the state of Tn unless it is for the family business. He could however mow grass and maybe do a paper route. At 15 he can work but not past certain times and no earlier than school lets out, for minimum wage

  8. yh u have to be 14 to work in the uk. Go down to connexions, they can help him write a CV so he can apply 4 the job he wants. he cant work long on schooldays onli 2 hours. Visit there site connexions.co.uk

or if any family or friend own a shop they can help out with them ??

don't know abou the hours or wage but i think minimum wage is like £3.20 or something ??

  11. He could work at probably any fast food place and at first expect 4-6 hours and a wage of 6-7 dollars an hour.

  12. You have to be 15 1/2 or 16 with a work permit from school and i believe its about 20 hours a week and the pay depends on the job most likely minimum wage.

  13. he will be on about £3 in england and he could get a paper round now try shops for Saturday work or volunteer work then people will want to employ him in the future I'm 14 now n i want a job but they told me to tell them when my work experience is

  14. It depends on where you live that determines how old he has to be to work full-time. Most states will not let someone who is still in school to work more than 20 hours a week,or after 10 on a school night. With him only being 14, he'll probably be paid minimum wage

Best choice would probably be to work for a privately owned business.

  15. I had a part time job in a shop in town for just a saturday and sunday when i was about 14. They dont have to pay you minimum wage at that age though so they can basically pay what they want until your 18!

  16. Usually to get a part time job you need to be 15 years old. Some places, places that arent big companies, or resturants, will hire a 14 year old because of how good there resume is, and if they fit the characteristics of the job. At resturants and companies, etc they are not allowed to hire til they are 15. Some places dont even except til there 16. It depends where you go. I would suggest, looking for  babysitting time, cutting grass, shoveling snow, helping someone out for a while, extra chores etc.. for him to make some money if thats what he was looking for.

  17. You can get a work permit when you turn 14. After you have that still only certain places will take you because some places have policies that you have to be like 16 and stuff.

From my experience they get paid just like anyone else as long as they will hire you, but i would suggest asking around some places he may be interested in working.

  18. On school days you can only work up to two hours a day, one hour before school and one hour after school. In the school holidays you can work up to five hours a day by for no more than 25 hours in a week and for two weeks of the school holidays, you cannot work at all. On Saturdays, you can work up to five hours and two hours on a Sunday. .

    Resteraunts, Cafes, Some shops.

  19. In the UK, it could be hard for him to find a job, considering he is under 16. He could possibly get a paper round or see if some shops will hire him.

Generally they like you to have taken your GCSE's or be 16, so it could be hard for him to find a job. Try asking for a paper round, seeing if any local shops will hire. Some retailers do, but it's very rare. No harm in trying though.

    :)

  20. well usually, other than small corner shops, and maybe some hairdressers, you have to be 15 and 9/10 months to get your national insurance, and then he can be hired by any shop, hairdresser, which is willing to have him. Hours depend on the job, but the usual is no more than 35 hours a week, and pay could be anything between £3.30- £6+ an hour.

    Hope I helped :)

This information if for the uk.
