Biebricher Schloss in Wiesbaden-Biebrich on the Rhine River is a little known Castle that is really beautiful.

Schloss Sonnenburg is in the Sonnenburg-part of Wiesbaden in Hess as well. The nice thing is there is a restaurant within the medieval castle. Wiesbaden is the Capital of Hess and 2 hours away from the Frankfurt Airport.

If you have a bit money, check out the Schloss Reinhartshausen a 4 Star Restaurant and Hotel. In the Rheinvalley ca. 1 hour outside of Wiesbaden.

If you want to see a lot of castles, I suggest a trip on the Rhine River. The knights and dukes have built a castle on every bend of the River so they could collect tax ;) from the ships.

castles= Burgen or Schlösser

we have a lot of castles over here in germany. but I think one of the most famous ones is probably schloss Neuschwanteich..... alot of americans call this castle the cinderella castle because of its beautiful look
