  1. House is a place to live and not always consider to be a investment. It sure will be ,when people will pay them off. Deepens how you look on the subject. It will take couple years before market will come back to normal- some people will loose, some will win. If I will have cash - I will buy at least 5-6 houses and just wait 5-8 years for the profit, but I'm still thinking, that real estate is a good investment.
