  1. Here's the deal on liquids, gels and aerosols: Keep in mind there may be minor variations from airport to airport but, this is the general rule of thumb:

For traveling with infants and small children you are allowed to take things like baby food, milk and juice.  The key is that it has to be a reasonable quantity.  24 cans on a 2 hour flight is unreasonable.

Water: if it's just regular bottled water, will not be allowed to go through.  What my husband suggests you do is to carry empty bottles to fill once you get inside the secure area.  Also, you can ask the flight attendants on the plane to get you hot or cold water, they will do this for you!

For any other liquids, gels and aerosols you've got they should be under 3.5 oz  and placed inside a clear quart sized (not gallon!) sized plastic bag.  ONE bag is allowed per passenger.

Baby food does NOT need to be included in this plastic bag, as they are separate and considered necessary for a baby.

Be sure to remove all liquids, gels and aerosols from your bag before you send them through the x-ray. and put them on the x-ray belt separately.

  2. No it could be a bomb. A gerber sized food container can contain enough C3H5(NO3)3 to blow the plane in half. What are you some kind of terrorist??

  3. you can as long as you inform the flight attendant..

  4. Go to "www.tsa.gov" for details...

  5. Phone the airline or go to their web site.

    Good luck
