I've notice that some olympics boxing matches are scored differently than other.. there all one sided like if they know who's going to win.. Like today I seen the fight Santos Reyes against a french fighter forget his name.. Santos Reyes knocked him down once and dazed him like twice.. and Santos was connecting clean shots to the face and body.. Even the commentators said what fight where the judges watching.. at the end the french won by 4 points even though he got knocked out once and got hit with more clean shots.. Dont the judges score them by who lands the cleanest punch? instead of what country your from.. IT WAS FF RIDICULOUS WHAT THE JUDGES DID.. SERIOUSLY WHAT FIGHT DID THEY SEE.. ANYONE SEEN THAT FIGHT OR A PREVIOUS FIGHT WHERE THE BOXING OLYMPICS JUDGES CHEATED..

  1. simple.

they are at the ringside and the best seat.

whereas, we are infront of the TV.

making do what the sports commentators say and what we presume to know and see.

  2. agreed

  3. I agree...

I thought it was only me who thought like that...

  4. There is huge resentment towards Americans boxers.  Winning the gold is a ticket to ridiculous wealth.  Everyone watching knows the American has a huge payday if he wins, they resent it, and punish him for it.

  5. i feel the same, its just a flawed system

  6. It's all about politics. The Olympics have always been a joke when it comes to the sports that have to be judged by a panel of judges. It boils down to politics or who gets paid off under the table. It happened in womens gymnastics last week and is usually the norm for figure skating in the Winter Olympics.

  7. Cause its China.. They are communist. Even the Russians said that America is being judged unfairly in this olympics.

  8. one word... incompetence

  9. The scoring system makes Olympic boxing almost unwatchable.  It's seemingly random.  The point has to be scored by three of the five judges pushing a button within one second of the scoring punch.  Obviously that does not happen every time as many fighters have been blatantly robbed.  I don't understand why they cannot use the older, established scoring system they used for years without as many problems.
