you have to take classes lots of em my mom n me work for the state and they had to take some 9 hourclasess once a week  to know how to go about asopting i know here in mo theres a stars program but since you might be in a different state it might be different so yeah you would have to go to your state website and find out about it or go to our local searchengine and type  adoption for the state of (soinso) hope i helped god blessed

I don't know what you have to do.

But in my opinion you should be a good person.  Kind.  Flexible.  Patient.  Basically, everything you need to be to be a good parent.

What do you have to do?  Fill out a lot of paperwork and do a lot of research.  What do you have to be?  A good person with the ability to understand that an adoptee has more than one family.
