WHAT DOES A GREY OR DULL MENU MEAN?

  1. If an option is not available on the computer/ internet it is call ed as grey or dull..


  2. It means that the option is not available to use at this time.  

  3. If an option is grey then u cannot use it, simple.

    To be precise, In a form, if a field is grey you can not fill or write text in it, and if any menu is grey, like changing any settings then u cannot Edit them.

    Reason can be the Menu is not activated(or does not apply) for that particular  session, OR the user not have enough privileges to change it.

  4. It means that you will not able to use that particular option. That operation is not active. (for these kinds of issue generally you will not have administrator rights)..
