i dream that my best friend who i call cousin passes away he is right now in prison and will be a while before he gets out i miss him a lot should i worry?

Sounds like you're already worried.  Generally that's why you'll have that kind of dream, you're worried about him and in his position who wouldn't be?  Try to relax and just let him know if you can that you're thinking of him and wishing him well.  I'll bet it will mean a lot to him and make you feel better too.
