Be carefull if you exchange for a 4.3 automotive engine. Some 4.3 boats have manual fuel pumps. Most 4.3 injected automotive engines have no provision drilled for the fuel pump pushrod.

a 350 chevy is the same set up, but is longer, it will technically bolt in place of it, but you may have to make a little bit of room infront of the mtor

(the 4.3 mercruiser is a 4.3 chevy v6)
