I don't know but i was wondering the same exact thing!!!!! I think the others are right, either the owners sold the station or they went off the air. It would've been nice if they could've given us some warning before they just snatched the station off the radio though!!!! SO tacky, and sad!!! They're website is still up though, i recommend snooping around there to try and find out what happened. Hope this helps : )

Radio One (Black owned) sold the station for $231 million to Utah-based (Mormons), Bonneville International.  The station is now Triple A format (Adult Album Alternative).  L.A. has only one Urban (radio talk for R&B) station (KJLH, owned by Stevie Wonder).
