WHAT IS A YAHOO! 360 PAGE?

Your Yahoo account allows you access to various Yahoo services - many of them are free. Yahoo! 360 beta is one of those services.

When you start a Yahoo account, you automatically get a Yahoo Members Profile (http://members.yahoo.com ) associated with that Yahoo ID. You can customize your profile so that people know something about you, but there are limits to what you can do with it.

Yet you can choose to activate the Yahoo! 360 beta service on your account to have a more extensive profile. This profile also allows you to display an image on Y/A if you like. The major difference with Y!360 and the regular profile, is that Y!360 is involved with social networking. You can use the service to connect with other 360 spaces and meet new people.  It's similar to MySpace and Facebook in that regard.

If you want to activate 360, go to http://360.yahoo.com and click on the "Get Started" button to go through the process. Then, click on the teeny tiny "Yahoo 360 Home" link on the upper right of that page or the 360 main page to enter the space.

For more details on how to set up elements of your 360 space, see http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/360/ . Keep in mind that 360 is a beta (i.e. testing) service, so there are many bugs.
