  1. Try some chicken wire to patch up the holes, if he starts to dig the put down some brick where he's digging.  Good luck!

  2. Chicken wire is good but if they do dig or neighbor dog digs it is still a mess.

I would do one or more of several things. Build a small brick wall about 1 foot out and fill with dirt and plant some pretty flowers.

    OR

    Buy a kennel

    or

buy a radio fence - this way dog learns to not go under your vinyl fence

or just fill really really good making small bank and plant some ground cover flowers if you are sure he doesn't dig.

  3. I have a Lab that use to go under the fence when the neighbor feed there dogs I put a petsafe invisible fence for stubborn dogs in and she doesn't get near the fence now only got zapped twice.

  4. i've used boards and cinder blocks to block holes my dogs dug.

  5. I have heard this works, but I haven't tried it myself.

Dig a trench, lay down chicken wire, so that 1/2 goes up to the bottom of the fence (and a bit over), and half lies in the trench.  Fill the trench with cement, then cover in dirt and grass, flowers, whatever.  Attach the visible portion to the fence.

Alternatively, don't leave to dog unattended in the yard.

  6. You can get garden border fencing made to go around flower beds - it comes in heights from 1' to 3' tall.   It is made of wire and you can just step on it to push it in the ground.

If you ran a row of this around the bottom of your vinyl fence, it would look very attractive and your dog could not get through the wires.
