ONE OF THE REASON BEHIND EXPANSION OF UNIVERSE IS SLATED TO BE dark energy.

But most important question is how this dark energy comes to existence?

i wonder how they coin such term at first place?

IF DARK ENERGY DOES EXISTED THE THING CALLED BIG BANG EXPLOSION NEVER EVER SPREAD TO SUCH LIMITS.

i am not fully convinced with the explanation available in OXFORD PHYSICS DICTIONARY too.

CAN YOU PLEASE TELL ME WHAT THE DARK ENERGY IS ? & WHY IT COMES TO EXISTENCE AFTER SO MANY YEARS AFTER THE BIG BANG?

  1. Dark energy or dark matter is just a name for the invisible substance that is holding our universe together, it has existed since the big bang, possibly before it. Modern scientists konw nothing about it, just that it makes up 95% of our universe. If you'd like to know more about it check out the Discovery Channel special: "Most of Our Universe is Missing"

  2. It always existed. We just discovered it only now by noticing differences in the rotation speed of galaxies, which did not fit, as well as the strange accelerating expansion of the universe. Since then, we had more and more visible evidences about dark matter and dark energy.

  3. Dark energy is simply the term used for the explanation for the unknown energy that seems to be accelerating the galaxies away from each other.

And as to why it existed long after the big bang?  To explain that, you know the tallest mountain in the world is Everest.  But what was the tallest mountain before Everest was discovered?  Still Everest, it just had yet to be discovered.

Same with dark energy.  It always has been there, just has yet to be discovered.

  4. Sounds Space

Bongôs of pulsars, low black hole and serious component of the Big Bang cosmic music as the record astronomers say.

When Pink Floyd was assigned the creation of "space music"

But this time Pink Floyd has already asked how music or if the U.S. space interplanetary space, interstellar or intergalactic want to say, has no air to be vibrado and produce sounds, as can be talking about sounds or echoes space?

    I think madness-madness-madness. And you?

  5. scientist don't know anything about it..... essientially all we KNOW is it's there.... that's it...

there's a fairly wide held belief that it's what's driving the expansion of the universe, tho.

how much do we know about black holes? those have been studied/pondered for atleast 50 years or more.... we've just recently discovered dark energy/matter.... we know between the two, they [dark matter AND dark energy] make up nearly all of our visible universe...  somewhere between 90-99% of it.
