  1. People keep asking you if you like America better than your own country and getting upset if the answer is no.

    Everyone thinks you have a cute accent but half the time they have no idea what you are saying.

    Employers don't think your foreign educational qualifications are as good as American ones.

    You get used to answering the same stupid questions over and over again as so few people here know anything about what happens outside their immediate environment. .

    On the good side, people here are much less cynical than in many other countries, it can be very refreshing. There's an adolescent innocence to people and society here that I love. I think people here actually try to be kind.


  2. Depends on the country in America you go to

    In the USA, you are always the foreigner. In other American countries, I don't know
