  1. Lethal means causing death or sufficient to cause death.

If there is a chemical (may be a poison or a drug) that is known to cause death if a particular dose is given to a particular animal the minimal such quantity is the 'minimal lethal dose' of that drug or poison to that animal.

But if that dose is given and the animal did not die, even then ,that was a lethal dose whis was not able to kill the animal.

  2. Lethal is something that is capable of causing death to a living being. For example, a Lethal injection.

e.g--Lethal injection, widely used for carrying out the death penalty in the US, amounts to human experimentation, a group of researchers is claiming.

  3. Please, lethal means a process or a compound which causes death. It has nothing to do with cruelty or experimentation or any other moral interpretation. Something may be lethal and humane or lethal and cruel; lets keep it accurate. I may be against capital punishment too but we should just answer the question.

  4. lethal, like lethal injection. is to describe someTHING that can cause death. lethal injection is use for the cruel and unusual punishments(treating criminals and others)and just one shot of it can kill a person in a very cruel, torturing way.

  5. lethal "terminates" life. plain and simple. you have a lethal experience, jack, you dead!

  6. A Killer

  7. lethal means "deadly"

  8. It is something that is deadly.
