  1. electrical  is one of the oldest branch in this case of electric u deal in terms of higher voltage...like mega watt ,kilo watt..ceiling fans ,bulb r some examples of electric instruments..

    as the use of semiconductor became more and more popular ,man started to make electric switches with size in terms of micro using this semiconductor materials...so that size of equipment reduced drastically...thus led to evolution of more advanced branch ELECTRONICS...

    in case of electronic u deal current in terms of mill AMPS,,as major component of electronics circuit r resistors,capacitors,IC's ,gates etc,(current used is too less ,usually voltage supply will be around 5volts).like in cell phones,computers,radio,walkman...


  2. electronic devices are active & they do amplification of a signal passing through them  but electrical devices dont  . Active device is nothing but they  require some energy to become operational ...
