  1. NOT A THING.  GET THE NUMBER OFF THE BLOCK DIRECTLY BEHIND THE DRIVERS SIDE HEAD ON THE TOP OF THE BLOCK AND RUN THEM ON "MORTEC.COM"  ALL YOU'LL NEED IS RIGHT THERE.

OOPS --MY BAD .. THE M COULD BE THE MARKING FOR THE MARINE 350 BUT ITS STILL A 350 AND YOU CAN DO ALL THE SAME THINGS WITH IT OR TO IT..

  2. I have never heard of a 350 l and a 350 m do you have a casting number ?

    try looking at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chevrolet_S...

it has good info on the page  now ford had a 351 w and a 351 m  but i dont know of a 350l block vrs a 350 m block

  3. The L or M designations simply tell you what kind of vehicle the engine was originally meant to be installed in. If I remember correctly, the L engine is for a full size car like a Caprice or Impala while the M is a truck engine but I could be mistaken on those applications. The internal parts are exactly the same.
