  1. The differnece isits ethier on grass or sythetic turf.

I noramlly played on grass, then I practiced on synthetic turf, and the ball goes A LOT faster. Beacuse, the grass isnt there to slow it down. I think its way more fun : ]

  2. at my school we practice on grass and play on turf.

whats better about the turf is that the ball is faster and easier to control where as if it was on the grass where the ball is less controlable. :]

  3. playing on grass is more unpredictable. the ball doesn'tt always do what you want it 2 do as it bounces quite a bit. astroturf is much faster and easier 2 make the ball do what u want. players tend 2 run with the ball more on grass and pass and move on astro. i am the captain of my high school's senior team and live in the scottish borders. as there is only 2 synthetic pitches in the whole of this area, i went through school playing on grass until i reached senior level. i now much prefer the synthetic surface and believe that it has greatly improved my skill level, as when i played on grass i could afford 2 just barge past people, but cannot get away with that on turf!

  4. It sucks playing on grass especially if you coming from playing on alot of turf. Grass helps your speed on turf though.
